Powerball is New and Improved!

Powerball has upgraded to offer big jackpots and more overall winners! Here is a summary of the changes.

More Overall Winners

We’re improving the odds of customers winning any prize from 1 in 78 to 1 in 44.

Big Jackpots

Historically we have a $100 Million jackpot every 3 years, with these new changes we should get a $100 Million jackpot almost twice a year!

More winning numbers and an extra prize division

The updated game will draw 7 winning numbers from a barrel of 35 balls (numbered 1-35). The Powerball will still be drawn from a barrel of 20 balls.

The new game will now have 9 prize divisions, helping to increase the number of overall winners in every draw.

Powerball pricing update

To help deliver more winners and big prizes, the cost of entry will increase by 30 cents per game.
